Marek Szatraj

In 2009, after completing an attorney training at the District Bar Association in Warsaw, he passed the Bar exam and acquired professional qualifications. In 2003 Marek completed his studies at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. His master’s dissertation explored the criminal-law protection of creditors against unlawful transfer of assets and unjustified bankruptcy.
Marek’s professional experience encompasses years of cooperation with Kancelaria Radców Prawnych Privitera & Grabowska in Warsaw. Previously he had worked as a lawyer at Kancelaria Drzewiecki, Tomaszek i Wspólnicy, Kancelaria Prawna Meritum and Korporacja Prawników i Brokerów Finansowych SIG. He also gained some professional experience while working at Deutsche Bank PBC and Fundacja Komunalna in Warsaw.
Attorney at Law Marek Szatraj started his own legal activity in 2005. Marek’s practical experience includes working with Clients operating in the real estate sector and construction industry, with particular focus on providing legal support for developer projects at the stage of determining the property’s legal status and providing legal advice on the purchase and sale of property. Marek advises his Clients on the commercialization of office spaces and commercial real estate leases. He drafted and negotiated construction contracts and project management contracts on numerous occasions. Marek has years of experience in court disputes concerning construction and real estate markets. On an everyday basis he provides legal advice for i.a. SH+E Group and Konsorcjum Budowlane KNP.
He is familiar with legal issues concerning the film industry, crowdfunding projects and practical aspects of copyright and neighboring rights due to his experience of providing legal assistance for Polish movie productions such as Pitbull, Totem, Photon, Niewidzialne, Ostatnia Rodzina, Jeziorak and Róża. Marek provides legal assistance to the film, music video clips and commercial producers. He cooperates with Lightcraft and ATM Group.
